American Association on Mental Retardation - AAMR is an interdisciplinary organization of professionals (and others) concerned about mental retardation and related disabilities.
Americans with Disabilities Act Document Center - Health information, State and Federal Statutes, Regulations.
Association of Regional Center Agencies - ARCA state website represents the 21 California regional centers that provide services to more than 142,000 people with developmental disabilities.
Autism Research Institute - Autism institute in San Diego, California.
Autism Society of America - National site providing definitions and important autism resources.
State Council on Developmental Disabilities (SCDD)  - Established by state and federal law as an independent state agency to ensure that people with developmental disabilities and their families receive the services and supports they need.
Coalition for Compassionate Care   A statewide partnership of more than 60 regional and statewide organizations dedicated to the advancement of palliative medicine and end-of-life care in California.
California Department of Developmental Services -The agency through which the State of California provides services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities.
